Jablokov Family
The story of the Jablokov family performing together began in 1992, when their mother, Katarína, brought her children to play and sing Christmas carols for elderly neighbours. From these intimate beginnings, their father, Alexander, soon formed a family ensemble that went on to perform across Slovakia and Central Europe.
In 2004, after Vladimir moved to Ireland and several of his brothers left to study abroad, their shared performances gradually came to an end. Five years later, however, driven by nostalgia and a desire to reconnect, Vladimir reunited the family on stage in Ireland – reviving a tradition that has continued every December since, now spanning three generations.
In 2022, their Christmas production, Viennese Christmas, moved to Ireland’s largest indoor venue, Dublin’s 3Arena, where it ran for three consecutive years. In 2025, this remarkable production also returned home to their native Bratislava, bringing the family’s story full circle.

Vladimir
After graduating from the Bratislava Conservatory and while studying at the Academy of Performing Arts, Vladimír felt the need to breathe differently – to leave the precisely aligned academic path and discover his own voice. He packed his suitcase and went to Ireland. It was there that he began to shape his unique musical style, in which he meets the technical precision of classical music with the passion of folklore, gypsy music and the energy of popular genres. His concerts gradually became a strong emotional experience with full spontaneity, joy and direct contact with the audience. Today they are among the most sought-after musical events in Ireland. In 2009, a strong family dimension was added to his personal story – Vladimír once again united his family on one stage and started another wave of tradition.
